The Bible is God's revelation of Himself to us. He tells us who He is, what He is like and what He requires of us.

God is the source of absolute truth, the standard by which everything is to be judged.

The Bible defines right and wrong.

The Bible is the Word of God.

God is Truth and His Word is true.

Printed Bibles are also available online or in bookstores. I recommend starting with a good translation such as the English Standard Version (ESV) or New International Version (NIV).

Don't be overwhelmed by the size of the Bible. Start small and develop a habit of reading consistently, maybe a few verses or a chapter per day. Perhaps start with the Gospel of John or one of the other Gospels in the New Testament.
